WHERE CAN I FIND A LIST OF RECOMMENDED HOTELS IN MAINZ?
Mainz offers a variety of hotels for your stay during the European Cloud Summit. If you wish to book a hotel directly at the venue, then Hilton Mainz will be the best choice for you.
In cooperation with the venue, we have also blocked a number of rooms at other recommended hotels (view hotel list for booking). The deadline of reservation via this link is 15 August.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN I REGISTER AT THE EVENT?
The registration desk is situated on the main entrance of the venue. The opening hours of the registration desk are from 7:30am to 5pm every day of the event (26–28 September).
If you are attending one of the full-day tutorials on Monday, 26 September, you are required to register that day before the tutorial starts. Please try to be at the venue as early as possible.
If you are attending only the main days of the event (27-28 September), or if you are a speaker or sponsor staff member, please try to register on Monday between 9am and 5pm to avoid registration queues. If you arrive on Tuesday, please try to be at the venue as early as possible.
HOW WILL THE REGISTRATION BE ORGANISED?
There will be several registration lines, and we will use alphabetical order, based on the first letter of your last name (according to the field “Last name” in your run.events user profile). Please make sure to choose the correct line. At the counter, you will receive your conference badge, valid for all conference days that are included in your ticket.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR REGISTRATION?
A few days prior to the event, all attendees whose names are assigned to a conference ticket, will get access to a printable ticket. We will notify you via email, as soon as the printable tickets are available.
You can then either show the printed ticket at the registration counter, or show it on your smartphone.
If you forget to take your ticket with you, that’s also not a problem – in that case, we can identify and register you based on your personal ID document.
WHAT IS THIS GET-TOGETHER PARTY ABOUT?
attendees, speakers and sponsors. Beers, wine (we are in Mainz after all!), soft drinks and some food. Please join us on Tuesday, 6pm – 9pm in the Rheingoldhalle halls. We promise fun, cold beer and good wine.
DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE FREE DRINKS AND FOOD?
The European Cloud Summit Ticket includes access to the conference catering. Food and drink stations will be positioned at several spots in the expo area during our coffee and lunch breaks. Snacks and drinks will also be offered at our Get-Together party on Tuesday evening.
I HAVE SET MY DIETARY PREFERENCES – WHAT DO I DO FOR SNACKS & LUNCH?
We will have dietary sections clearly marked during our breaks, so they will be easy for you to find. If there are still problems or open questions, please talk to our staff at the info desk.
WHAT ARE THE EVENT‘S HYGIENE AND PROTECTION MEASURES IN REGARD TO COVID-19?
As event organizer, we will of course follow the governmental safety regulations in force, as well as the hygiene and protection procedures of the venue. Currently, there are no specific COVID-19 regulations in place, but we will aspire the highest possible hygienic standards.
